I constantly feel guilty about….
1. Everything from trying to do housework whilst looking after children to doing housework when children are in childcare
2. For putting children to childcare so that I can work
3. Nagging husband about everything – as he will never understand truly what it’s like to be a working mother (why I waste my energy nagging i don know) – if only he was rich but when suggested I give up work and did nothing I bit his head off – I am more intelligent than him and will one day earn more (how can i do that if i stop working)!
4. Not feeding my children enough brilliant organic produce – cooking loads of homemade meals when i should be entertaining them
5. Will feel guitly when I’m back at work when I buy those ready made annabel karmel meals as no longer have time to cook
6. Not sitting down enough as a family and eating together
7. Taking time out to go for a run when I should be helping husband with bedtime – how I will fit in running when i return to my 3 day a week job that is in actual fact 5 crammed into 5!
8. Going away for 2 nights for a wedding without hubby and kids as hubby works very hard and has no idea what he is in for (may cut it short to one night if the guilt becomes too much)
9. Going away overnight at least 1-2 times a month when officially back at work
10. Taking eldest to supermarket at 6 in morning – how dare he get me up that early he will be punished with a long trip to local supermarket!
